Opportunity Grant

The Opportunity Grant program at Peninsula College can provide funding for tuition/fees and books/supplies for eligible adults for up to 45 credits in the following programs:
- Medical Assistant
- Addiction Studies
- Criminal Justice
- Nursing
- Information Technology
- Early Childhood
- Woodworking and Homebuilding
- Automotive Technology
- Administrative Office Systems Accounting Option
- Composite Structures
- Welding Technology
Eligibility Criteria:
- Income eligible based on financial need
- 18 years or older
- Have earned less than an Associates Degree
- Completion of the FAFSA (free application for federal student aid) that shows financial need
- Willing to enroll in 1 credit quarterly OG support class
- Washington State Resident
You need a completed financial aid file to be considered for Opportunity Grant funding fall quarter 2012. Start by completing the 2012-2013 free application for federal student aid (FAFSA). It becomes available online starting January 1, 2012 at www.fafsa.ed.gov
Because Opportunity Grant funds are first-come, first-serve, you must complete the FAFSA as soon as possible. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
