Program of Study: AAS in Green Building/Carpentry & Advanced Manufacturing

What I love about Peninsula College: After having attended two other Community Colleges, I really love this campus. The staff and teachers are always helpful, the campus is beautiful, and the ASC plans a lot of fun and free events for the students throughout the quarters.

What being a Student Ambassador means to me: I love my job as a Student Ambassador because I get to introduce potential students to the campus and people I love.

Future plans after PC: I plan to transfer to Seattle after completing my degree.

Min Phan, Student Ambassador

Program of Study: Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Management

What I love about Peninsula College: PC is a modest community that provides each one of us the attention and knowledge for success, this is why I love it here at the college.

What being a Student Ambassador means to me: Being a Student Ambassador allows me to share my interests and my perspectives of PC to students, family and the public. It is also a tremendous opportunity for me to brush up on my leadership skills.

Future plans after PC: After completing my bachelor degree, I plan to get a job relating to my passion that PC had helped nourished.

Amanda Sanders, Student Ambassador

Program of study: Associate in Arts - Direct Transfer

What I love about Peninsula College: PC is a beautiful, diverse campus with many programs and activities to engage in.There is such a helpful staff for every need you may have. There is also so many helpful programs such as tutoring, computer lab, writing lab, etc. to help you succeed.

What being a student Ambassador means to me: Being a Student Ambassador for PC is truly an honor. I get to share my love for PC with students and community members. I also get to use some of my knowledge of the school to help new students who may have the same struggles as I had when I started. I love helping and being a leader and being in this position helps me improve on both.

Future plans after PC: I plan to transfer to a 4 year university and get my BA in Early childhood Education. Then I plan to get my MA in Child psychology.

Logan Matlock, Student Ambassador

What I love about Peninsula College: The accepting environment, the great teachers and the beautiful are all big things I love. It is a wonderful school and I could go on.

What being a Student Ambassador means to me: It is a chance to help people and create a stronger and more organized future for myself and others.

Future plans after PC: I have a lot of paths open and so far I cannot narrow it down past three or four.
