This three-session class highlights the production of red wine and chocolate varietals - with an emphasis on the similarities in processing methods and profile descriptors. Instructors will also talk about the red wine and chocolate industries in Washington State. Final class held at Camaraderie Cellars tasting room with samples of red wine and chocolate. Student must be over 21 years of age to participate.

Learn to make delicious pastry at home to delight your friends and family. This class includes pastry making demonstrations, detailed recipes, lots of answers to frequently asked questions and samples! This workshop covers Puff Pastry stuffed with Guacamole, Mushroom Pate in Flaky Pastry, Brie Cheese with Cranberries Baked in Pastry, and Salmon Fillet stuffed with Walnuts in Pastry.

Long-time Port Angeles educator, Bobbie Daniels, shares her secrets for living with a gluten-free diet. Learn how to find the foods you need, how to go out to dinner, and tips for traveling. She will provide resources for information on what you can eat and ways to fix it. Bring your own lunch, gluten-free snacks provided.

Adapted to modern kitchens and available produce, Magdalena Bassett will demonstrate techniques, share recipe history and sources, and provide students with a free recipe booklet for these dishes from Germany. Dishes for demonstration and sampling are: Potato Pancakes, Sausage Baked in Pastry, Rouladen, Red Cabbage, Spaetzle (dumplings), Apple Cake (charlotte-style).

Adapted to modern kitchens and available produce, Magdalena Bassett will demonstrate techniques, share recipe history and sources, and provide students with a free recipe booklet for these dishes from Poland. Dishes for demonstration and sampling are: Cheese-Potato Pierogi (stuffed dumplings), Kopytka (potato dumplings), Golabki with mushroom sauce (stuffed cabbage rolls), Kulebiak (sauerkraut and mushrooms baked in pastry), and an Easter pastry.

An introduction to the basics of coffee history, production and brewing. Follow the coffee bean from tree to cup. Includes field trip to local Roastery and a chance to experience the art of "coffee cupping".

Starting with the legends of origin and including current political and social issues of production, this is all about coffee. Final class includes a Turkish Coffee Ceremony and tasting.
