Welcome to Veterans Services
Peninsula College recognizes the sacrifice of those who have served in the United States Armed Forces. If you are a veteran, or a survivor or dependent of a veteran, you may be eligible for veterans educational benefits to help you achieve a great education!
Peninsula College acts as liaison with the Veterans Administration for individuals who wish to use their veterans benefits to attend the college. In this section, you will find information for prospective students, transfer students, and current students.
Applications for veterans educational benefits should be initiated through the Veterans Services Coordinator. Initial processing times can reach 60 - 90 days before funds are received, so be prepared to pay “out of pocket” for the first quarter. Advance application is recommended.
The Veterans Services Coordinator is located in the Enrollment Services Office and provides guidance to veterans and their dependents regarding education benefits under the “G.I. Bill.” All veterans and other eligible individuals should visit this office as early as possible during preparations for entering Peninsula College.
