Academic regulations and policies that apply to all members of the Peninsula College community.
Academic Progress and Performance Policy
Peninsula College is committed to facilitating the academic success of students. As part of our responsibility to each student and to the State that helps to fund each student’s college education, the College has established expectations of student progress and academic performance.
Academic Honesty
Preamble: When students enter Peninsula College, they are joining a community of scholars in an environment of open inquiry and academic honesty. This community is characterized by the freedom to express and to question. Responsibilities associated with this freedom include fostering mutual respect for diverse speech and beliefs and contributing to an atmosphere which engenders civility. The campus recognizes that the U.S. and the Washington State constitutions protect free speech and expression.
Acceptable Use Guidelines for Electronic Information Systems
In general, the same ethical conduct that applies to the use of all college resourcesand facilities applies to the use of electronic media.
Add / Drop Classes
A course change form is used to add or withdraw from classes. These actions are limited to specific time requirements.
Audit
With the consent of the instructor, students may elect to audit a course without earning credits.
Concerns or Complaints
For class-related concerns or complaints, always start with your instructor. If your concern cannot be satisfactorily resolved with your instructor, you should follow the steps below to ensure that your concern receives the appropriate attention.
Confidentiality of Student Records
In order to respect the privacy rights of students, only limited information about a student may be released to individuals off campus without the express written permission of the student.

Student Conduct Incident report
A form used to report offensive conduct by one person toward another.
Student Conflict Resolution
For students to express and resolve any issues with any College employee or agent of the College in a fair and equitable manner.
Student Right-to-Know Completion and Graduation Rates
In accordance with federal regulations, Peninsula College is reporting completion and graduation rates for a select group of students who entered the college in Fall 2001. The study identifies the percentages who had completed their programs or transferred by August 31, 2004.
