Guangzhou - A City of Contrasts
Welcome to Guangzhou, a city of contrasts where towering skyscrapers and expansive shopping malls coexist with traditional Chinese neighborhoods tucked away on back streets that move to a much more ancient beat.
Home to the world-famous Canton Trade Fair, Guangzhou (once known as Canton) boasts of a colorful history dating back more than 2,500 years. In fact legend speaks of five celestial beings who bestowed blessings on the land, helping the ancient city to become affluent and influential, blessings that obviously continue to this very day.
Should you decide to enter our faculty exchange program with Guangdong AIB Polytechnic College, you can become a part of the magic that still embraces the city and its environs.
