Basic Education for Adults (BEdA)

The Basic Education for Adults (BEdA) Program provides instruction in fundamental academic and pre-occupational skills for adults with emphasis on reading, math, writing, and basic computer literacy.

Basic Education for Adults (BEdA) Programs provide instruction to help you:

  • Improve your college placement test scores
  • Improve basic skills before entering college
  • Prepare for the GED test
  • Learn to speak English or improve English skills for non-native speakers
  • Obtain skills needed to get a job

English as a Second Language (ESL)

Classes are provided for students whose primary language is not English. Students have the opportunity to study pronunciation, reading, writing, and speaking English.
