Peninsula College Webster Scholarship
Funding for the Webster Scholarship comes from an endowment established by the late Charles N. Webster, whose family founded the KONP radio station and the newspaper that is now known as the Peninsula Daily News.
The Webster Scholarship is for new and continuing students planning to enroll at Peninsula College to pursue Journalism or Multimedia Communications
Students must enroll in the required classes for the scholarship and maintain a 2.00 cumulative grade point average per quarter.
Journalism students must maintain 3.00 combined grade point average in their Journalism classes
Multimedia Communications students must maintain a 3.00 combined grade point average in their Media classes.

Morgan Match Scholarship
Eligibility Requirements:
This scholarship was created and shall be operated exclusively to fund scholarships for Peninsula College students who:
- Have graduated from high school in Clallam County
- Are enrolled in at least 12 credits
Award Amount:
- Up to $1000 a quarter for tuition and fees (only tuition and fees)
- Up to $300 a quarter for books and supplies (only books and supplies)
Application Process:
- Applications are available at the Financial Aid Office
- A typewritten personal statement addressing your goals and plans to achieve them, along with a description of your financial need.
Deadline: Continuous
Application is to be submitted to the Financial Aid office.
Please Note:
The intention is to use this for students that don’t meet the financial aid deadline or have zero financial aid.
This will be a quarter by quarter scholarship, meaning students will need to apply each quarter after they register for classes.
Entrepreneurship Scholarship
Eligibility Requirements:
- Scholarships will be awarded as funding is available and if a student has not other means of financial aid (Worker Retraining, etc...).
- Individuals are limited to two scholarship awards (2 classes) per calendar year.
- There are no income requirements to seek funding though the fund is meant to support low & moderate income individuals.
- Funding is limited to individuals living in Clallam and Jefferson Counties, though special circumstances may be considered.
Criteria:
Scholarships for individuals are restricted to classes, workshops, and seminars offered through the Entrepreneur Institute. Scholarships will not exceed 50% of the cost of the class (includes tuition, supplies, and program fees).
Application Process:
Submit the following with your application:
- A typewritten personal statement addressing your goals and plans to achieve them.
- One current letter of recommendation from individuals who best assess & endorse your entrepreneurial goals and aspirations.
Deadline:
There is no set deadline for submission of scholarship applications but should be received 3 weeks prior to the first day of the class you are seeking funding assistance for.
