Tidepools, an annual publication of fiction and non-fiction prose, poetry, artwork, and photography, offers students a chance to gain experience and credit producing a college literary magazine. It's designed, produced, edited, and marketed by Peninsula College students, who take English 180-182 and 280-282 or Media 181-82, “Literary Magazine Production.” The one to three-credit class offers students an opportunity to develop a wide range of skills including graphic design, proofreading, public relations, and marketing . Students interested in contributing to Tidepools may submit material s in the fall of each year through the Tidepools art and literature contest that is open to all residents of Clallam and Jefferson counties.
