The PUB Gallery of Art at Peninsula College is seeking entries for the 2024 Peninsula College Student Art Show.
The show is a juried exhibition that will be in the PUB Gallery of Art from May 21 to June 12, 2024. Any Peninsula College student of the 2023/24 academic year may enter up to three works of art. Cash awards are sponsored by the Peninsula College Foundation and will be given for:
- Best of Show ($150)
- Best of 2-D ($100)
- Best of 3-D ($100)
- Best of Photography & Digital Art ($100)
- 2nd Place in Each Category ($75)
- President’s Merit Award ($100)
- Honorable Mentions
Awards winners will be posted on June 3 in the gallery and on the PUB Gallery of Art Facebook page. Award certificates and checks will be sent later to mailing addresses.
Entry is Free: Bring your original artwork and a signed exhibition agreement to the PUB Gallery of Art in J building on Wednesday, May 15 from 12:00 pm-3:00 pm or Thursday, May 16 from 10:00 am-1:00 pm.
All artwork must be clearly labeled on back with: artist name, email address and/or phone number, title of work, medium, and year created. Additional size and format information is included on the exhibition agreement.
All artwork entered for the show must be picked up from the PUB Gallery of Art at the conclusion of the show on Thursday, June 13, or Friday, June 14, 2024. Any artwork that needs to be removed before then must have prior approval. All submissions will be considered for the exhibition.
